I suspect that civilization dates further back that current findings can show. Each layer unearthed adds to our understanding of our current ignorance. In a few generations, the knowledge that we have may be viewed as illogical as phrenology. Although, we all hope our beliefs are based upon more than bumps upon the noggin.😁
