I don't know if you did or not. But again, you have set a low ceiling.

Do you know how they work, how they mimic brain structure? Do you have an idea of how animals and humans are intelligent? Or do you, as many do, suppose there is some supernatural spark they get endowed with by a sky creature?

The "singularity" is separate from the AI issue. Some commentators link them, but nobody alive today will be able to transfer the consciousness to some machine.
