For years I had wished, out of exasperation, that perhaps some cosmic ray from way outer space would blast the planet with some kind of energy that would render every gun, bomb, weapon with a trigger or firing mechanism useless. All of them as lethal as a Q-tip.

Maybe I should put some more "juice" into that!
