1. Many years ago we started a group for grades 1 to 3 in our little town

called 'Nature Nuts." One of our meetings was an overnight on a teachers farm to watch the Perseid meteor shower.

We slept outside on the lawn in sleeping bags. Most of the kids made it to midnight or so before dropping off. Every body saw some meteors. Most of the kids were woozy the next morning but had had a good time.
