3. I knew people from Iceland back east, so I have the advantage

The area might go quiet again, or it might do what it's done before, go quiet then go boom. Or it might not go quiet and go boom, nobody knows how to predict anything but a high probability, not a certainty.

Still, once the area becomes active, the past lava flows show that it stays active for a couple of centuries.

If this one pops off within the next few weeks, it will be convenient for Iceland, volcano tourism will pick up and cash flow will be very positive.
