This is the Jewish group, but your post can only be responded to with any degree of competence by someone who is well familiar with the nuances of ISRAELI culture and politics. There is a dire dearth of responders on DU who can offer competent thoughts or discussion on the topic, or even vouch for the accuracy of the themes covered in your friend's OP.

As for myself, and without commenting on the specifics of Israeli culture or politics, what struck me immediately was intentional infusion of skewed narrative in the composition of his header. "The delusion of moral superiority", on behalf of Israelis beyond a small radical minority, is taken for granted as a point of departure without elaboration, Israel's fueling of war is based entirely on this unsubstantiated presumption, and "war on Gaza" itself denotes unprovoked aggression on Israel's part.

This is linguistic maneuvering, not reasoning, and it is detectable regardless of the rest of the content.
