...for somebody, anyway. We are the same people today as we were yesterday--with the same blessings that were there before. If anything, we are richer for the experience and more blessed with the new friends we discovered during the campaign. Losing a Primary is a bummer, I won't lie about it. Having said that, however, I also want to add that like every other venture in life you gotta pull up your socks and keep walking if it doesn't pan out as you'd hoped. I am still planning for my own campaign in the municipal elections next winter, and this loss has done nothing to diminish my feeling that I need to do it.

I also commented earlier today that we just ran an entire campaign based on my husband's qualifications and skills. Might sounds kinda funny, but that is one heck of a way to get his resume out there in front of potential employers. If he really does decide he wants to (or needs to) make a change that exposure is not gonna hurt one bit.

Best of luck to you and your friend in that Congressional race. Kick ass for the good guys!
