Who will win (and be relegated from) your league of choice in 2015/16? [View all]

It's been a long summer and there have been some interesting (even agonizing) transfers among Europe's top leagues this year. The good news is that Matchday 1 is nearly upon us, and just like last year I thought it'd be fun to make some predictions about our favorite leagues.

Last year I asked who you thought will win your favorite leagues. This year, who do you think will win and who do you think will be relegated from your favorite leagues?

The league I follow most closely is the Bundesliga. FC Bayern Munich are once again the reigning champions heading into their 50th year in the league. If they are able to retain their title, it'll mark the first time a team has won the Bundesliga in four consecutive campaigns.

I think FC Bayern can do it, but I'm not certain they will. I fear that their bald Spanish manager will draw a lot of unwanted attention to the team as he enters the last year of his contract, and that will really negatively impact the team. Last year I picked VfL Wolfsburg to win the Bundesliga, and they ended the season as runners up. The experience will serve them well as FC Bayern deal with the Guardiola situation, and I am going to pick Wolfsburg once again to win the league.

As far as relegation picks in Bundesliga, as much as I don't want to see it happen I think Hamburger will see their record run in the first division come to an end. They've been skating by on the narrowest of margins for the last few seasons, and I really doubt their ability to fend off the drop one more time. The other team that I think will get knocked out will be VfB Stuttgart. Stuttgart have a lot of young talent on the team, but they are not well managed and were also nearly relegated this year. I believe they'll also get dropped at the end of May.
