Australia faces The Netherlands on Tuesday – my daughter and I are debating whether we should go to bed early on Tuesday night and get up at 2.00 a.m. our time to watch Australia get thrashed. We probably will, because they'll most likely be out after this first round.

But maybe we have a chance against Spain? We know we’re at the bottom of the rankings, but the team have guts. They went down 3-1 against Chile, but they made Chile work for it.
