I can't tell you how many times I've heard a movie was being made based on a game and... I fucking fall for it every single time... I have that brief moment of 'ohhhh, that could be awesome...' and then reality comes crashing in and you remember how badly every video game movie manages to get fucked up. Even the ones that are decent really should have been far better then they were.

And I just did it again when I read this article... Even worse, I still want to hold out a little hope
