7. I remember most of these things

I still have my baton that I keep under my bed as a weapon. Loved Drive Ins. Getting film developed, silly putty copying, the PE uniforms( mine was blue) carrying books in my arms ( now backpacks then) typing class and having to write lines to not do ( as a substitute teacher I think it would be a good thing for kids to do it nowadays, they practice writing and what they did wrong sticks in their heads)

I had this large plastic board with skate bottoms that you laid one and it had a steering wheel. It was fun but so dangerous and my neighborhood kids wanted to use it and one got a pretty bad scraped leg and my Dad got rid of it! But it was so much fun!

And in my senior move job I recently came across one of those old console TV’s pictured. The hauler took it to his warehouse where he collects old memorabilia. He said someday he’s going to start a museum.
