Little details like the Venezuelans having a sense of nationalism and national identity and that they might feel that it’s their duty as Venezuelan patriots to resist an invasion and that Venezuela is way bigger than Panama (and also larger than either Iraq or Afghanistan) probably didn’t occur to God-Emperor Trump or his underlings.
