11. How fast can you buy a gun

Here in Montana you can buy one as fast as you fill out the ATF form and have the background check done,, 20 minutes at the most from what I have seen unless you are an out of state buyer then while they can still buy a gun they cannot leave with it, It must be sent to an FFL like a gun shop in the buyers home state for pickup there subject to the rules of that state before the buyer can take possession
