they just wanna break something pretty, snuff out some happiness: we've turned the country into an arms bazaar because we're so damn frightened all the time (without realizing we're making it worse every day)

it doesn't take a smidgen of genius to accumulate 13 guns: you get 'em as party favors and form mother-son bonding sessions at the range around 'em; we treat them like iPods and pretend they save lives
