31. ''For dogs, love isn't about perfection.''

A dog doesn’t want a flawless human; it wants one who’s there...They don’t ask you to be strong all the time. They just ask you to be around. Dogs love humans even when we struggle to love ourselves. They look at us with admiration even when we can’t admire ourselves. They teach us empathy when we’re too tired to care, and patience when life feels unfair.

Would dogs still love us if they knew all our flaws? Yes. Because they already do. They’ve seen the imperfect parts we try to hide from the world and chose to love us anyway. That’s not just affection, that’s grace.
