2. gods! I can understand not wanting to completely lose

something or someone you deeply love. But surely it was explained to this guy that even tho he had the dog cloned, it may not even come out looking like the original, in coloring, etc.

And yes, I think he should have adopted a new dog. There are too many in shelters and rescues and fosters that are looking for forever homes to go the lengths Tom Brady went to.

I loved my Sweetie cat more than I thought I could ever love anything... but even I know there'd be no way to truly "clone" him. He was unique... one of a kind. And no amount of science could have made up for the lifetime of experience that cat accrued. THAT made him who he was. And not having him with me here today, walking across my keyboard as I try to type, makes me still want to scream in grief. But the small kitten I found... cold, hungry, scared, alone... thanks him for allowing it to become part of our family.
