I lost my Felix just before Christmas two years ago. He was only 8. We actually took him to a veterinary neurologist and he got much better, could eat on his own again - but then they think he had another stroke and they couldn't help him this time. I know, it's the worst.

But I have a friend whose daughter rescues cats and cat #3 (Nicky) was scaring cat #2 who is very small and took up residence on a shelf in the bathroom. So my friend asked me if I'd like Nicky, so I went there on Christmas to pick him up. It was a terrible start since her husband accidentally put cat #1 in my carrier and by that time all 3 of the cats were upset. And when I brought him home, of course he hid. But he was just in the room with me since I'm upstairs and he keeps checking. He really is the sweetest thing, extremely personable and craves attention.

And he looks so much like your beautiful cat Andreas! Gray tiger stripes just like Andreas has on his head and white under his chin. My friend knew I'd like him since he reminded of the first cat I ever knew - and loved. I used to spend time with my grandmother and Skippy was the high point, but I was very little and he didn't much like me, though he still has a special place in my heart. And now I have Nicky - who loves attention.
