I'm impressed with the battery ones. It tears up my shoulder anymore to start my Stihl 20" Farm Boss. I tried out my brother's 18" electric on a downed oak tree and was totally blown away how well it zipped right through that hard oak. If I were to buy a new chainsaw I would get an electric one.

I did get one of those little one hand electric saws on Amazon for around $50.00. it came with it's own carrying case, 2 chains, two rechargeable batteries and charger. I use this little saw more than I ever thought I would. Oh is it ever sweet for clearing brush and trimming small branches to fit into my wood chipper. I also have a battery operated pole saw I bought at Harbor Freight that works great too.
