(22,442 posts)64. After a three week plateau, I have hit my "Dukan True Weight" goal.
I have lost 55 lbs. since May 4 and am now on Day 159 of this diet.
My blood pressure and cholesterol levels have gone from sky-high to
low normal!
I still want to lose another 11 lbs, and I'm continuing the "Cruise" phase
of this diet until mid-November. Then I start adding carbs back into my mouth-hole.
The Dukan "True Weight" is a weight determined by several
factors to be a reachable and sustainable weight and is usually
higher than most dieter's "ideal" weight.
I would recommend this diet very highly for anyone who likes meat and fish.

Last time I was on the diet I spent about 4-5 hours in the gym each week.
