And it is true certain foods tasted weird to me. Mainly overly sweet stuff I just cannot tolerate. I really do not do much with carbonated beverages. But I remember having one of those candies you get at a restaurant at the Hostess Stand and I had to spit it out after a few seconds it tasted weirdly odd and disgusting to me.

Even beers that are overly fruity in flavor are actually very repulsive to me. Before I could tolerate a fruit based beer but now it's just downright repulsive to me. I tried drinking Dogfish Head Festiva Peche (Peach beer) and I almost gagged on it - too sweet. But give me a bitter beer and I'm a happy camper.

I know by the 3rd week the combo of the Phentramine and Topiramate was making me bonkers. I'd try to sleep and I'd get paranoid that I wasn't ever going to wake up. I ended skipping doses to help ween me off of that and also cutting out all additional forms of caffeine including coffee (I was doing 2-3 cups a day). Now I have no side adverse side effects other than the issue with overly sweet stuff oh and still losing weight.
