I joined Weight Watchers online 2 weeks ago. [View all]
My story:
I gained a lot of weight during grad school - stress eating. I joined WW almost immediately after and lost 30 lbs on their program.
Then I got pregnant. Then I miscarried.
Then, I tried to get pregnant for the next three years, all the while emotionally eating like crazy.
Finally, had to accept that I was never going to have a child. Still continued to eat emotionally.
Rejoined WW, but just couldn't stick with the program. "Cheated" constantly.
Went to the doctor a few weeks ago and was shocked by my weight.
190 lbs! (I was 130 when I got pregnant).
I felt "ready" so I joined WW again.
I just had my week 2 weigh in and so far I've lost 8.8 lbs. I'm at 181.2 and I already feel a little different.
I know the loss is going to slow down, I had big losses the first few weeks when I joined the first time.
Then is slows down to about a pound a week, or even less.
But, I just thought I'd introduce myself here, as a way of keeping accountable.
I'm going to read through the other threads here and get to know all of you!
