and pulled out the ear plugs I would still have a slight ringing in my ears for about ½ hour and then it would go away. One day it did not go away.. If I'm doing something, watching the telly or music I don't notice it. When it's quiet, like now I "hear" it.
Lots of theory's but no cure.
