Yes weakness and tingling are symptoms of GB
its not that common of a disease but yes usually appears days or weeks after being sick. There are tests to rule out GB, it can also be a delayed medication reaction.. . check out what ever they gave you for the illness if GB is ruled out by the tests at https://www.askapatient.com/

A relative had this but recovered and is OK
