3. I'm even more amused by the weight loss gimmicks

that hawk supplements, shakes, or exercise equipment because their instructions invariably tell you to do the same boring healthy things that you were hoping to avoid by paying for the gimmick.

I haven't really been on a diet since my 20s and the only reason I was on one then was that the wasband needed to lose about 40 pounds. He deflated like I'd stuck a fork in him and I was just about hungry enough to do just that, even though I ate at noon.
