one or the the other doesn't help me stay regular, but for some reason if I eat both (usually in bread) I can keep things moving...

Googling shows the transplant is helpful for some. There don't seem to be any risks to the procedure. It might be worth it. (have you had your poo tested? that can tell you if your good bacteria is low.)
