Crap. Bone mets in my right knee area [View all]

I have been having lots of pain in my right knee since about the beginning of February. Saw my oncologist today and told him it was still bothering me. He suggested that we do an x-ray to rule out any new cancer growths.

Just got off the phone with him. He said that there do appear to be spots on the bones in my knee area and upper leg. I am not extremely upset at the moment (I kind of suspected it), but am definitely not looking forward to more pain. Dammit, I was just getting used to walking again after many months of being pushed and/or hobbling around! I hope my Frankenstein (left) leg and my walker will help me keep that bit of independence for awhile.

Maybe I should just handle it a la Civil War days: anybody have a bottle of whiskey and a good chain saw they know how to use to get rid of the sucker? Don't worry, I am just kidding!
