there are plenty of companies living off of medicaid (sending you supplies AT NO COST TO YOU) and preying on older and insecure individuals.

The most blatant one said "Will donate .97% of receipts to charity". Of course, .97 is 1/100th of 97.0, so they were offereing less than one percent. But if you don't know basic math, or look quickly, it'll imply differently.
