and also to your brother for working in this field!!!

In 2010 when my husband had his first transplant for MDS/AML I read about haplo and cord transplants as stand alone procedures. We are now staying at an ACS facility where several people have received a haplo plus cords, something that was not being done back in 2010. The idea is to use the haplo as a bridge until the cord (or stronger cord where two cords are used) takes over.

Science is moving quickly, please tell your brother that we appreciate what he is doing to save lives
