I will catch up with the threads later today or tomorrow. We lost Ranger yesterday. For the past couple weeks we had been trying to figure out why a leg was not getting better. We took him to the vet and were told he had hurt his leg. We also noticed the tumor had come back and it was the size of a quarter. His leg didn't get any better.

Saturday was a day from hell. He could no longer lay down until he was so exhausted. Medication did not help and when he did I knew what we had to do. We gave him the best last days we could. Our vet also has a home vet service and she came yesterday. We had been warned if the cancer came back it would be bad but nothing prepared us for how quickly he declined.
