        But they self-identified as feminists (probably because that was the only way they could express the hatred). Almost every one of the women I knew who were like that had been hurt VERY badly by a male in their life and so, I didn't really blame them. But the feminism was secondary to the pain and rage. 
Feminists, as a general rule, do not hate men, though. That is true. Feminism is supposed to be about equality for all. All of us is equal to everyone else. Therein lies my simple definition of feminism

        I would consider my wife a feminist.  She just calls herself just a lady however.
