(3,829 posts)when the towers didn't collapse from the basements? They collapsed from the aircraft impact zones.
Think about that. The aircraft were obviously perfectly capable of taking down the towers and the logistics in crashing some hijacked aircraft into a large buildings is far simpler than rigging a building with explosive (magical silent explosives, except heard by people near the towers) and taking the building down that way. Explosives would be redundant and the perpetrators would be guaranteed to get caught.
Think about the logistics and expertise required to rig both towers with explosive and then to get the explosive to take down the towers at the aircraft impact zones. The massive operation would be uncovered well before completion. You couldn't assemble such a team to carry out the operation because the vast majority of Americans would refuse to take part and report it to the authorities.
Controlled Demolitions are extremely loud from a distance. Loud noises weren't heard in any of the collapses, except at close range.
