I think income inequality and managing AI are more pressing and people are more willing to listen on those issues. There’s no stomach for anything dealing with Climate Change that might cause prices to go up. You might be able to do something for Climate Change if it also helps income inequality (affordability). Anyone talking about making sacrifices for the planet is going to get crushed at the ballot box.
