2. It is why despite my love of nature

I can never bring myself to watch anything beautiful. I invariably wonder, “how will humans manage to destroy this” and most documentaries have detailed stats on that.

That aside, one quibble I have with most nature documentaries is the annoying anthropogenic background music. I like the primal sounds of the wild without human narration, uplifting heartwarming music (🤮 ) and anthropomorphic story telling.

I like a respite from our aggressively encroaching and destructive species when I can find it.
