the desktop needed some Microsoft updates and I had to download a Quickbooks utility something or other to be able to install the new program.

I could not remember the admin log in from the original version. In order to restore the company file, the program needed it. I was thinking "What if died? They'd never be able to open this again?" And the only advice was to contact my administrator --- which is me.

I had written down the username and password but nothing worked. I had to go home and get the old laptop and see if could tell from there. The username there was different from what I had written down but the password was the same. I had used that password for years! So once I got the username, everything worked out fine.

I haven't used it enough yet to tell what the differences are.
