RICHMOND, Va. (WWBT) - At least 150 employees of a janitorial company contracted by City Hall are on strike.

Employers walked off the job Tuesday after alleging three employees were fired and threatened another for trying to organize a union.

“Workers have rights, and those rights should be respected,” said Jaime Contreras with SEIU 32BJ, a labor union that represents property service workers.”
