I didn't know of that alternative meaning of the word. It works either way, then -- and apparently, I should have been apprehensive about my English courses in college, too (although I actually got 4.0's in the entire freshman honor's English sequence of 3 classes, because I had a great prof who I thought was the coolest guy and brilliantly inspiring).
