I'm seeing a lot of that, lately.

Apparently the fight against nekkid booberz and the dudebro gaze is so vital that all rules can be tossed out the window in pursuit of "the greater good". Even while demanding that the rules be strenuously applied to the bad peoplez, including inventing rules that don't actually exist.

Hell, if people want admin to be tougher on zombies and socks, I'm all for it. I was for it before they were. NO ONE is bigger on that idea.

But let's not play the game of "person H came back and everyone knew and no one did anything about it" (particularly if it's not true) while simultaneously, knowingly, deliberately covering for person(s) S,F,I,E etc. who return with distressing regularity over from their blog(s) after being banned so many times for bigotry, etc.

I've seen several thinly veiled calls for MY banning in recent days, which is funny, because honestly while I may strenuously piss some people off with my opinions (namely, that pictures of naked consenting adults don't hurt anyone, and "Feminism" to me means equal rights and reproductive freedom, not Burqas and censorship) I really do -I think- a fairly decent job of following the rules of this place, and I don't fly off with direct personal attacks and insults unlike some members cough cough. Closest I come, I think, is maybe occasionally calling some people on their post-modern sentence structure. I plead guilty on that.

But shit, even my transparency page is relatively clean, although my alerty friends did get one the other day, first one in a while. (Congratulations, my friend! )
