Selling any product depends on the emotional involvement of the members of the target market combined with popular perceptions. Violence is wrong. Violence against the defenseless is doubly wrong. Women are smaller and weaker than men. And bingo, you have a ready made market of people around whom you can personalize a general moral principal.


Just like with any B grade action movie plot, "This time it's personal."
