but so what? Most of us will never go there.

People say silly things all the time and the normal attitude is just a shake of the head and life goes on. Until now you had to be careful picking your targets because outrage was a lot of work to generate.

However, in this new age of instant outrage, anyone in a bad mood can pick up a comment from years ago and post. Post it in the right place where others in a bad mood see it and massive outrage is guaranteed.

It would be nice to think that whoever takes over when we wipe ourselves out learns from our mistakes.

But I kinda doubt it.
