when shot with a sharp lens and lousy lighting.

Some of them, like Beyonce, look like they just got up or are on their way to the grocery store, but some of the others fascinate me at how much they don't look at all like who they are. No doubt a lot of it isn't what they look like, but the lousy conditions the paparazzi were shooting in. And, yes, many of them actually look pretty good either way.

But, it's all part of the magic, and still fascinates me how a little, or a lot, of paint and good lighting can maintain the illusion.
