You mean Beyonce looks like a normal person when she goes out to get the newspaper in the morning? NOOOOOO! NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I've been fortunate- or unfortunate- or really sort of neither---- in my life to have known more than my share of "famous" people. Now, certainly, in our oddly celebrity-obsessed culture it may be strange for some people to discover that these people are, indeed, just people.


But, some people are beautiful, with makeup, without makeup, whatever. Still, we are -many of us- appearance-based animals. It's a reality, and not one that's going away.

FWIW, I don't usually look so hot when I grab the newspaper first thing in the morning, either.
