As for Susan Sarandon, I'm not sure her gamble on capturing the youth revolution vibe can save her failing ping pong restaurant here in SF. The reviews from customers are brutal, especially concerning the food and "craft" cocktails. Charred cold kale pizza? Seriously? $14 drinks with liquid smoke in all of them? I'm sure she thought this was a wise investment, but even the techies are not buying into it. And most of the tech giants got rid of their ping pong tables last year. It was a big thing in the news here. She's about a year behind the trend, at least here.
