2. I predicted that Hillary's favorables would get above 50%

only days ago. People will find a reason to vote for someone, rather than against another, and with that, favorables rise.

I wonder why this article used percentages for everything excpet when they say that "half" now have a favorable opinion of Hillary. Why not say 50%? I know they mean the same thing, but by not using the percentage the word "half" gets sort of buried in the copy.
