Sure I am interested in making it better for myself. But it can also be accomplished by making it better for others too. There is a rippling effect when the lives of others are improved that really need it. To improve the lives of the rich not so much.

If education is improved it can effect so many aspects of life. Health care for one. Income equality would make a strong impact by also improving education and also reducing crime.
