I am a far left progressive liberal. But I embrace pragmatic solutions.

And frankly, to imply that the far left has managed to do anything to influence this country or the Democratic party for better/worse is inaccurate.

The Far Right has dug in its heels and refused to cooperate or compromise.

The Democratic party has kept to its pragmatism but this willingness to compromise has seen our country drift constantly to the farther right.

One of the few exceptions is Obamacare and Gay Rights/Marriage.

I have no love lost for ideologues on either side of the isle. But those on the Left have had little impact. Those on the Right have done awful damage.

I place all the blame on the ideologues on the Right, the corporate interests funding them, the politician willing to do the bidding of their pay-masters and the media for unwillingness to inform the public.
