I had not seen this website before. But found this on twitter. I have not studied it, as I just found it.

But about Bernie raising the money--not surprised--I have seen LOTS of emails going out asking for donations.

Welcome to Whipboard – a new window to open data

“Unlock open data and make it useful.” This is the mission statement that Tim Hwang and his co-founders laid out when launching FiscalNote in 2013. The sentiment still drives the company three years later.

Since that time, product and engineering teams at FiscalNote have been changing the way government affairs professionals interact with government on behalf of their companies. But our data science team and content producers know that we can have a much broader impact.

Today we begin to make that additional impact with Whipboard – a publication providing data analysis and insights on the current state of American politics. Specifically, we’re gearing up for the 2016 election this November, but more broadly we’re looking at politicians, their efforts, and the communities they serve.

We’re very much focused on assessing the past and present to determine outlook and actions for the future.
