My five foot tall Mother was an business woman. She never raised her voice. In fact she had a very soft but clipped tone. I used to watch her talking to a room full of men and they would all be bent over listening.

When you are dealing with a couple of blowhards, the smart thing to do is draw people in and make them listen.
