But she talked about being a D senator working with an R president and other R leaders and praised Bush's efforts after the attack

The spirit of 9/12 is a powerful message.



I once heard her use this reasoning to explain why she voted for the war. She was elected by the people of NY who were traumatized and needed her to support the president in anything he asked for.

It was a great explanation,I wish she would use it again.
