Disastrous time after the presidency of George W, so much was wrong, and he can be credited for so much, saving the auto industry, getting ACA passed, he has left a mark on history. The US credibility was low in the world, this was a project undertaken by Obama and Hillary, when ask what Hillary did as SOS, it was to reestablish the creditability with other nations spoiled by the Bush administration.
