work through some issues I didn't understand and better come to peace with myself, and not to accept less than I deserve or have earned. Part of being a woman is being underestimated; and it helped me to see that things effecting me weren't really about me, because I saw that they were happening to her too. I stand a little taller and it would be wonderful to see that fewer little girls are forced to be so much less than they are for nothing but propping up some sad little mens' egos. It's nice to think little girls can be more themselves and maybe be put down less.
